My first contact with procedural art, CyberScape gave me the opportunity to explore various generation techniques and expanded my proficiency in Unity scripting.
Inspired by the iconic Cyberpunk 2077 and using some of its original assets, I aimed to capture the essence of Night City while blending it with my personal style.
Attention to detail was crucial for achieving realism; from streetlights to speed bumps, graffiti to advertisements, every element contributed to the city's authenticity.
The materials were designed using Substance 3D Designer and they focused on showcasing a wide spectrum of living standards.
Ranging from shattered windows to corroded metals and colorful emissive glass, each element played a part in enhancing the urban energy.
For a complete feeling, I developed a water shader and implemented several animations. By applying post-processing effects and fine-tuning the lighting, the city transformed into a vibrant and dynamic landscape under the clear night sky.
